How does it work?
Well have you heard of acupressure? Acupressure applies pressure on specific points on the body to treat health problems naturally and restore the harmonious flow of energy. There are several pressure points you can use for relief during labour but perhaps the easiest way would be to hold a comb that hits those points for you.
The soft wooden teeth of the comb are held to the base of the fingers which helps to relieve pain. It also plays a part in the pain gate theory where it distracts the brain into focusing away from contractions and towards the sensation in the hand.
Even if you are a little sceptical, it’s worth a try before you consider more invasive pain relief isn’t?
Also great for cesarean births, whichever way you choose to birth your baby our comb can provide some distraction from pain and anxiety.
How do I use It?
Place the comb in your palm, teeth of comb to your palm and grip. You might find that you won’t need the comb until active labour, when your contractions are strong enough that you can’t talk through them, and you need all of your brain to focus. This is a good time to use the birth comb.
Don’t forget to tell your birth support crew to give you the comb because you may forget to ask for it.

Please hand wash or wash on a gentle cycle.
You will notice the bibs and burp cloths will wringle, if this bothers you a quick iron smooths them out again.

Like other swaddles, sleep sacks with swaddle attachments are a cause for concern because when used incorrectly, they can increase the risk of injuries, suffocation, strangulation, and even death. They should not be used when a baby shows signs of attempting to roll over from their back onto their stomach. Please follow all Rednose Australia guidelines when using.
Rattle and Teethers:
All Rattles and Teethers are to be used for their intended purposes only and under adult supervision, do not leave child unattended.
WARNING before each use check carefully. Throw away at first sign of any damange or weakness to avoid any possible injury.

Dummy Clips pose a stragulation risk and must not be used whilst sleeping or attached to loose clothing items such as bibs.
Inspect each time and dispose of at first sign of wear and tear.
